Taipei, 30 November 2023: A diverse range of companies from Taiwan, including tech companies such as Acer, Asus and Cooler Master as well as consumer goods manufacturers such as Wonderland, Shengtai Brassware and Nien Made, have already been honoured in the Red Dot Award. To recognise these outstanding achievements in the field of design and in the competition, Professor Dr Peter Zec, founder and CEO of Red Dot, personally hosted a round table.
“Products from Taiwan often impress with their great innovative strength and stand out from the competition with their very high product quality,” says Peter Zec, summarising the design quality. The Managing Director continues: “We are always delighted to be able to meet our participants, partners and jurors from Taiwan directly in their home country. The exchange is extremely enriching on a personal and professional level. We travel back to Germany inspired.”
The connection between Red Dot and Taiwan has a rich history that has grown over decades. This deep-rooted relationship between the renowned design competition and Taiwanese companies reflects the impressive innovative power and creative excellence of the Taiwanese design landscape. Now both sides are striving to further strengthen and expand these close ties. The continuation of this partnership will not only promote excellence in the design sector, but also intensify the collaboration between Red Dot and the talented minds in Taiwan.
