The Cochlear Nucleus 8 sound processor represents a high level of comfort and discretion. It is both lighter and smaller than its predecessor model and can thus be worn even more discreetly behind the ear. On top of that, the system has been further developed not only structurally but also technically: Listening settings can now be fully automatically adjusted to the environment and Bluetooth LE audio connectivity will allow users to connect to more devices than ever before. The jury was impressed by “the successful symbiosis of miniaturisation, listening performance and comfort, which results in an exceptional user experience with this sound processor.”
