Cleanliness through innovation

Kärcher has been offering cleaning equipment and solutions since 1935. The idea that innovation benefits people has been the company's guiding principle from the very beginning. Not only can this philosophy be seen in Kärcher's standards of perfection and the fact that its existing systems and design solutions are consistently being reanalysed and improved. It is also reflected in the high quality of its solutions, regardless of whether they are designed for an everyday problem or an unusual challenge.

Kärcher Connected Control Unit

The Connected Control Unit is a solution for making a smartphone part of a scrubber-dryer. It enables interaction between all operators and equipment in the system and provides information on machine status, maintenance requirements and cleaning needs.

VC Cordless Family

VC Cordless Family

The VC Cordless Family is a cordless vacuum stick cleaner specifically designed for cleaning hard-to-reach areas. The ergonomic shape makes it easy to use. A Caps Lock function eliminates the need to keep the power button pressed. LED lighting on the floor nozzle helps to make dirt more visible, while a battery status indicator alerts you to any malfunctions. The product is designed to be functional and its construction is robust. The black main elements are attractively accentuated by colour, said the judges. The wall bracket with charging function allows the VC Cordless Family to be stored in a space-saving manner.

K2–K7

K2–K7

With the aim of achieving a significantly smaller carbon footprint, the K2–K7 pressure washers, with their varying power outputs, were developed according to the principle of modularity. The design language is based on bodies of different sizes that can be equipped with functional parts and accessory modules that are equally compatible with all models. A normed interface geometry ensures the individual modules can be quickly attached or replaced. The jury was impressed by the “rigorous implementation of a product concept that conserves resources and nevertheless offers a high degree of functionality”.
