Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2015 - Awarding ceremony in Singapore

On 25 September, the winners of the Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2015 will be honoured at the Red Dot Design Museum Singapore. Especially on this occasion, the awardees will fly to the Asian metropolis to receive their certificates and well-deserved awards on stage from Professor Dr Peter Zec, founder and CEO of Red Dot. This is the day, when the winners of the Red Dot: Luminary will be announced.

This year, five concepts which were distinguished with the Red Dot: Best of the Best are nominated by the international panel of Red Dot jurors for the Red Dot: Luminary - the highest single distinction of the award. The Red Dot: Luminary serves as an inspiration and is assigned for the most groundbreaking design. The nominees are Boostrac by Hankook Tire, FORTIS Human Powered Exoskeleton by ROBRADY design, OXYGENE by Dalian Nationalities University, Save3 by Aditi Singh & Parag Anand, and Here - the lamp desk by Serge Atallah.

The Red Dot Award: Design Concept started in 2005 as a platform to uncover the best and most advanced design concepts. The competetion has matured to be today’s largest and most prestigious international award for design concepts at a professional level: In this year’s competition 4,680 entries from 61 countries competing in 31 categories were submitted.
