Interview with the design team

How do you decide which ideas to nurture and which to let go?

We decide which ideas to nurture by staying true to what we know best, which is motorcycling. If an idea supports the larger goal of helping people, especially kids, understand how to ride the right way, we pursue it. For instance, we saw that learning to grip a motorcycle with the legs starts young. That insight led us to design our kids' bike with a true motorcycle form, not a bicycle. Ideas that shape lifelong riding skills are the ones we choose to develop.

What strengths does your team bring that others might not have?

Our team's strength lies in its global roots, with development anchored in India and Europe. This cultural mix brings diverse ideas and perspectives, driving user-focused innovation. Many of us are motorcyclists or cyclists ourselves, which helps us reconnect with our own childhood experiences, imagining what we would have wanted back then. This blend of insight and passion ensures we're not just building products but crafting experiences that truly resonate across the world.

Which recent project helped your team work more closely together?

The ACRO project brought our team closer by reconnecting us with the fundamentals of human development. Designing a kids' electric motorcycle wasn't just product building. It was about shaping an experience that nurtures confidence, skills, and persistence. Involving children added a deep sense of responsibility, making decisions more thoughtful and collaborative. It fostered a strong team bond and a shared purpose to shape the future of riding.
