A recent study shows that global warming must not exceed 1.5 degrees Centigrade or otherwise it will cause extreme problems and severe weather events. The Arctic and its polar animals in particular will be affected strongly. The design for this chocolate aims to raise awareness of this issue. The packages show illustrations inspired by the usual representations of human evolution. This is linked to the image of chocolate, melting when the temperature is too high. By connecting those two concepts, the illustrations do not depict a process of development. Instead they visualise the extinction of polar bears, penguins and seals.
