2025 JAC Define S&X Prototype Concept

The JAC Define platform provides highly efficient modular hardware architecture with intelligent cockpit and driving systems, which enables a flexible vehicle upper body and innovative user experiences. Defineís driving units are the BEV, PHEV, and REEV. Defineís goal is to explore and create new types of future vehicles with high production readiness that support better future mobile lifestyles. Define-S showcases the platformís sporty performance, while Define-X highlights its functional capabilities. Both prototypes are equipped with CDC air suspension and a rear-wheel steering system. Define-S is a 4-seat coach-door sports coupÈ with a one-arch silhouette. It achieves a very low drag coefficient of 0.18Cd and a high space utilisation rate of up to 89%, with highly flexible interior features such as rear seats that fold flat to extend the trunk. Define-X is a 6-seat SUV that pioneers a split tailgate with a pair of tailgate ëfishingí seats and a rear bumper-integrated deployable bicycle rack. Both prototypes seamlessly extend mobile lifestyle scenarios like cycling and camping, and both prototypes feature JACís DEHM OS HMI system and advanced intelligent driving technologies. The ëskyline cockpití includes a 48-inch panoramic forward-mounted curved display for information and a 15.6-inch central screen primarily for interaction.
