Alpine Strukturen

In order to showcase photographs from “Alpine Strukturen” (Alpine Structures), a project by landscape photographer Ingo Rasp, a series of fine-art catalogues with the same title was published. Their minimalist design provides a suitable framework to accentuate the artistic expression of the large-scale photos. The catalogues are divided into chapters, each presenting different views of the alpine environment, and introduced by specially composed lyrics which guide the viewer and underline the different moods. The natural tactile sensation given by the cover paper underscores the natural impression of the photographs. The title is emphasised by blind embossing, as are the lyrics on the flaps.
