Armchair Renaissance

The form of this chair is inspired by the curule chair (lat. Sella Curulis) with X-shaped legs. Curule chairs originated in Ancient Rome and they were a symbol of political power. There is a legend that the first curule chairs were made in gold and given to Julius Caesar. The design of the armchair—adapted into a stylish, minimal and modern shape—allows it to be used in both private interiors and public spaces like restaurants, libraries and airports.
