By launching an online appeal in the pre-Christmas period, it was possible to provide 1,000 children in need with Christmas gifts. The heart of the campaign was an interactive “Christmas Tree of Wishes” that offered website visitors a chance to browse children’s wishes according to their interests while also offering a simple and straightforward way to donate. The appeal was organised in collaboration with the Arche e.V. organisation. Linking up to social media effectively increased the scope of the appeal and turned donors into disseminators within the network.
