This branding for the prestigious cathedral choir in Magdeburg, Germany, presents the choir as open, cheerful and appealing to a wider audience. The aim was to show presence, draw attention and, last but not least, to attract new members. The concept was realised through the use of sacred yet fresh colours, as well as a logo that presents the choir with a “twinkle in the eye” and “melodic” structures. The detailed design with a plain-looking typeface recognisably traces the contour of the Magdeburg Cathedral.
