The intention was to create a brand identity for the restaurant Beijing Hotpot, which exemplifies the very core of Beijing culture, as this type of culinary specialty looks back on 1,000 years of history. The design illustrates the humorous, optimistic and life-loving characteristics of this city and showcases the everyday life of the Beijing people. Hence, these Chinese brush drawings embody Beijing culture. The distinct font stresses the temperament of this metropolitan yet traditional city. Those strong visual perceptions are rounded out by the sign of a typical hot pot.
