This interactive installation at the Dubai International Motor Show highlighted selected car models of the premium car manufacturer BMW. Following the concept of an interactive stele, visitors were invited to step in front of a mirror that revealed an interactive menu around the reflection of the person. This augmented image, together with the reflection of the actual car exhibit and the futuristic interface, could be navigated through simple and intuitive gestures to retrieve additional information about the car. A time-of-flight camera tracked the movements for the gesture-controlled navigation and documented the height of the user. Additionally, a special software detected and displayed even gender and mood of the person interacting with the stele.
