Data Visualisation
BMX Freestyle Championships
The platform was used during the Dutch National BMX Freestyle Championships. The riders were equipped with sensors that transmitted their riding data such as position, acceleration, height and rotation, data which was then used to visualise the path of each rider on a large screen. This was complemented by information about the tricks that the riders had just performed, so that the audience, jury members and not least the riders themselves could get better insight into the performance. The key colour was the Dutch national colour orange.
