The earthquake tragedy in Haiti at the beginning of 2010 was covered by every media outlet. The Catholic relief organisation MISEREOR wanted to persuade the most influential journalists in Germany not only to report on the disaster, but also to help with a donation. This extraordinary mailing reduces the text to the provocative call “Taten statt Worte” (Deeds, not words). All other letters fall like confetti out of the envelope. The information on the donation account is simply introduced by the short message “Jede Spende hilft Haiti” (Every donation helps Haiti).
