Chikuwa is a popular snack in Keelung, a district of Taiwan. The branding for this handmade fish speciality, which originates from Japan, uses a painterly presentation format to present a maritime pictorial world. The partially water coloured motifs refer to the coastal landscape of Keelung, provide the product with local colour, and visualise, with love of detail, the three available flavours: shark, crab and octopus. The varying designs of the packages communicate the preciousness and uniqueness of the contents.
