Chinese Proverb

Chinese Proverb | Red Dot Design Award

Back Download

This work is divided into three categories and consists of a series of books, posters and illustrations. It introduces Asian proverbs such as “barking dogs seldom bite” or “walking the plank”. The order of the publications is based on the places where these proverbs are used: workplace, school and family. The books have fold-out pages. They present colourful images, which, just like the illustrations, visualise the proverbs. This is meant to be an entertaining way to explain them to Asians as well as foreigners.
