Chopstick - Autonomous Embodied AI Robot

The current labour shortage affecting the industrial, healthcare and government sectors is driven by an ageing population, occupational injuries, and the younger generation’s unwillingness to engage in labour-intensive work. Chopstick is a new productivity tool in the age of Industry 4.0, designed to reconstruct modern workplaces with smart swarm intelligence and human-robot interaction, substituting humans in repetitive and hazardous tasks. Chopstick's radical design is categorically different from humanoid, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and quadruped robots. Instead of emphasising personification in robots, factors like speed, payload, human-like communication, operation hours, and reasonable cost of production are considered. It features dual robotic arms for completing intricate human tasks, an active suspension wheel system for complex terrain, and dual interchangeable batteries complemented by hotswap battery stations for zero-downtime operation. Chopstick's AI model enables natural language processing, swarm-based vision sharing, smart power management, low latency communication, and data/asset management. It is achieved by training proprietary LLM, computer vision, and human behaviour, which subsequently enable human-robot collaboration and robot-robot swarm intelligence.
