In order to highlight the fact that financial and social issues are inseparable, Swiss chemicals group Clariant integrated its sustainability report in its annual report of 2017 and called it “Allin-One”. The integrated report is ac-cessible online and also available as a printed version. Its design concept was not limited to the report but followed a holistic approach. Figures took on a special role in it. They connect the reporting and the story level, the printed and online reports, and the one-year-long rollout of the communication campaign. In this way, the design conveys the contents and underlines their importance. The reduced layout style also creates transparency and makes the report easier to navigate.
