CO-1 10th Anniversary Poster

Back

red dotCreated for the ten-year anniversary of an art school, the design of this poster is playfully based on the Chinese characters for “ten years”. While it uses the traditional Chinese word for “ten”, the character for “year” has been replaced by the word “link”, which shares the same pronunciation and simultaneously adds the meaning of “continuous”. The motif thus represents the ten years of successful support provided by the art school for the development of its students. A wooden frame was used as the main construction material, which serves as the foundation of a painting while also symbolising the supportive framework offered by the school to its students.
