The Coca-Cola Summer 2013 campaign inspired families to engage in outdoor activities and featured six different can designs. By activating the traditional Dynamic Ribbon, the packaging was transformed into graphic representations of the joys of summer – a surfer riding a wave, a water-rafting adventure, a family road trip, a rollercoaster and a baseball player throwing a ball. The motifs were featured on packaging, in-store displays and summer premiums such as T-shirts, beach towels and kites. The packaging design also appeared on can packs, 2-litre bottles, 1.25-litre bottles, 20-ounce bottles and the 7.5-ounce mini-sleek can.
