Danger Is in Hidden Places

This poster series aims to draw attention to sexual assault and harassment. The posters visualise the delicate issue by employing reduced means. While a realistic representation makes up only a small part of each image, most of the space is occupied by a blurred zone, symbolising the fact that the victims are usually molested in secret. By not showing the injured body parts openly, the posters also refer to the victims’ trauma. Viewers are encouraged to decode the meaning of missing details and to become aware of inner harm, which has a serious impact even though it is invisible.
