The book “Danish Tattooing” documents the history of Danish tattoos from 1895 to the present. Special attention was paid to the golden age of the 1960s with its many, fascinating stories from the underground. The book presents anecdotes and historical photographs of legendary personalities and tattoo centres at that time. 14 portraits of contemporary tattooists and their unique access to this art build a bridge to the present.
