Since 2019, Diehl Winery has been managed by Thomas Diehl in the third generation. The motivation for a brand design relaunch evolved from the owner’s attitude: close to home, cosmopolitan and committed to society and the environment. The basis and key visual of the new brand design is the hoopoe, a small migratory bird which used to be a helper in the vineyard. After not being seen for 40 years, the bird has occasionally been sighted again recently. A symbol of hope and support, the illustrated bird is the new signet for the entire external communication in print and digital. In addition, three cuvées are dedicated to the bird.
