DIY Weave

DIY Weave is a versatile interior decoration support system comprising modular parts and weaved patterns. It is produced with two different fabrication methods – the modular parts by a machine, and the patterns weaved by hand. Functionally, the modular parts are designed to hold the patterns together. The pattern areas are made from bamboo strips and created with a much easier weaving technique than traditional methods. This traditional craft of bamboo weaving gives a new lease of life in modern society with this reinvented part-handcraft and part-machine-made method, which makes DIY Weave more sustainable and eco-friendly.
