Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR) is Denmark’s oldest and largest electronic media enterprise. Text is an essential part of DR’s content. The bespoke type family DR Publik was designed to strengthen legibility and ensure visual consistency on all platforms, enhance corporate branding and create a coherent visual expression. The streamlined, no-fuss type family corresponds to the Scandinavian design aesthetic and is characterised in particular by nearly monolinear stroke widths and horizontal or vertical terminals.
