The interactive scientific poster “Dynamic Planet” was designed for the exhibition “Focus Earth” of the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences in Potsdam, Germany. Following a concept that allows dynamic content to be displayed, it shows how the earth is permanently changing due to earthquakes. The current data measuring of seismic activity is visualised in an interactive graphical representation that classifies the events by magnitude and depth to give visitors a direct impression within a framework that ensured a clear overview. A special visual feature is the representation of the earthquake depth in a transparent, rotating globe.
