The interior design concept for the bar Eduard’s in the new Dorotheen Quartier in Stuttgart, Germany, aims to revive the neighbourhood and to attract a broad target group. Incorporating an exciting contrast between traditional bar culture and urban trends, a massive counter placed at the centre of the bar dominates the distinctively narrow, five-metre-high room. Surrounded by opposing glass and brick facades, and following a concept of day and night, the bar is divided into a brighter area in the front and a darker area at the back. A space-defining copper tone with light reflections creates a spectacular atmosphere in the evening.
