The Gesseler Goldhort forum is part of the district museum of Syke in Lower Saxony, Germany. It houses the bronze age gold treasure discovered in the area in 2011. The exhibition architecture and graphics employ a clean, pared-back stylistic idiom and design which perfectly match the distinctive architecture. The atmospheric illumination of the cabinet shines the spotlight on the gold hoard. Multimedia stations as well as an interactive laboratory, which invites visitors to participate, compellingly present the research work on the treasure and offer an insight into the life of people from the Stone Age right through to the early Middle Ages.
