Get Out The Vote

Created for the 2020 presidential election in the USA, this poster conveys multi-layered messages to encourage people to vote. A large-size orange butterfly, a symbol of change and growth, attracts the viewer’s attention. On closer inspection, all areas of the posters are filled with text. The butterfly, for example, provides food for thought featuring a quote by Max DePree: “We cannot become what we want by remaining what we are.” The design adopts a 1960s and 1970s aesthetic and lends the poster a lively, passionate appeal.
