Danish magazine Gymnasieskolen with its 48,000 monthly readers has been transformed using bold editorial and design elements, pushing the boundaries of what the magazine format is capable of communicating compared to digital publications. A reader survey provided necessary insights into the target group to create content and design which engages and creates space for reflection and immersion based on the reader’s point of view. The redesigned magazine for secondary-school teachers distinguishes itself from the usual communication to members, which is characterised by conventional thinking and design.
