The name of the home interior lighting brand HOMVIT combines the English word “home”, a person’s most relaxing space, with the Korean word “vit”, which stands for “light”, the bright and joyous element that increases a home’s value. Accordingly, the brand identity design shows a combination of English and Korean elements as well. The symbol consists of the logo in English lettering together with three pictograms embodying the Korean characters expressing “home”, “people” and “spreading light”. The square as frame represents space. In addition, the dark brown background colour communicates the warm and comfortable character of the lighting product range well, symbolising darkness, while the ivory coloured signs, at the same time, represent light.
