Hook

Inspired by how stall owners in the traditional Dongmyo flea market in Korea use hangers to display objects effortlessly, Hook is a new ceiling pendant lamp concept. It allows users to easily adjust the placement of the light according to the needs of the situation. The light's position can always be determined and readjusted to match the radius of the user's actions. Hook is constructed by bending steel pipes into ‘hook’ and ‘curved’ elements. The lamp shade is a simple steel conical form, and the pendant lamp can be customised to preferred heights by using longer or shorter sections. Red Dot Award: Design Concept | Concept | Illumination
