The Huatu logo design is appropriate for the continuing education sector, as it uses the capital letters of the company’s name to depict a book. The reduction to red tones visually underlines the simplicity of the logo. The letters that comprise the two parts of the company name “HUA” and “TU” overlap in their common letter “U”. In this way, the contours of the letters represent the upper edge of a thread-sewn book and are intended to pay homage to Chinese culture. The overall result is a homogeneous visual design system which makes possible a new form of expression and conveys a sense of authority.
