The Hyundai IONIQ5 surpasses the value of conventional cars as means of transport and offers a new experience of the car as a personal “device” that can be tailored to the user’s daily life. For example, the positions of the seats and console can be adjusted according to the driver, situation and needs, making the car a comfortable living space. The V2L function allows drivers to use the extended battery even when not driving – simply when they need power. All these functions can be set via the infotainment system with its 12.3" touchscreen and sleek appearance. To express the clean and environmentally friendly concept of the exclusive electric vehicle, the GUI theme called Jong-e, which is based on pure image paper, was defined as a key element of the graphic layout. The nature-inspired green and blue colour gradations give it a clean and appealing look that conclusively reflects the vehicle’s value. In addition, parametric pixel elements applied to the interior and exterior components of the UI design create a consistent brand identity throughout the vehicle.Statement by the juryThe Hyundai EV Infotainment System inspires with a high level of technical innovation that makes the IONIQ5 connectable to additional user needs in everyday life beyond the purpose of a means of transport. The consistently bright, clear colours harmoniously reflect the ecological aspects of the electric vehicle and make the user interface with its multitude of functions a groundbreaking tool.
