The print campaign Iconic Leica Pictures aims to promote the uniqueness of the brand and demonstrate respect for the centenary of small-frame photography. In order to stress the association with Leica photography, this campaign illustrates the history of collective visual memory by using only typography. Thus, the first word in a chain of associations is shown and instantly starts a search for the following one. Threeword sequences – such as “Sailor”, “Nurse”, “Kiss” – immediately illustrate the logic of iconic Leica pictures.
