iLux – Identities of Luxembourg

This exhibition visualises the results of a scientific study on the topic of “Identity Construction in Luxembourg”. It centres on the basic idea that living in a relatively small country like Luxembourg – which entails “having to (and being willing to) tolerate and respect one another” – very much resembles the rules and expectations of everyday life in a student housing community. The results of the study are presented in the form of an abstract flat that manifests as a two-dimensional layout on the floor, with important objects and exhibits virtually “growing” out of it.
