In order to set themselves apart from other independent record labels, Klamauk directly involved their audience in the process of creating a design concept for their music packaging. The target group was analysed, many interesting characters were met in the process and this led to the inspiration to reinterpret these characters as mythical figures, accompanied by futuristic inventions such as the “insane tasty toaster”. Thus, an entire parallel universe emerged, which was brought to life on the album covers in a unique illustration style. As a result, the vinyls turned into sought-after collector’s items.
