KNOCK-TROC is a platform that allows anyone to exchange goods and services quickly and conveniently. Its primary purpose is to build a harmonious, sustainable society based on the model of a sharing economy, with an objective to save resources and reduce living costs by encouraging the re-using of goods and services. For example, one can offer to cook a meal in exchange for help with an English paper. KNOCK-TROC establishes a social connection between users, so authentication of identity through a social network is necessary to use the platform. Users can add friends and other people that they are interested in for making long-term partnerships. They can also join an interest group or a location-based community group to keep an eye on their favourite services or communicate with people who have the same problems or interests.
