Kolowrat

The House of Kolowrat is a Czech noble family that played a prominent role in the history and administration of their native Kingdom of Bohemia as well as the Holy Roman Empire. The new design for their core product, cider, was developed in honour of Count Alexander “Sascha” Joseph von Kolowrat-Krakowsky. One of the family’s most significant descendants, he was a pioneer of Austrian cinema and a keen race driver. His race car and the shamrock that brought him luck were used as supporting visual elements. A witty touch of elegance associated with the First Czechoslovak Republic and the avant-garde, two phenomena that occurred during his lifetime, were also included in the visual mix.
