In Taiwanese, “lasamiya” means “dirty thing”. This poster illustration deals with the topic of undignified conduct that poisons and complicates life. It also deplores the fact that many people tend not to vent their frustration in such instances, which encourages even more misconduct. In order to communicate this, these posters, done in powerful colours, make use of a sarcastic art style. The depicted scene, in a kind of discotheque, shows various caricatures of people, symbolising traits such as anger, greed and deceitfulness.
