LATE Posters

Back Download

The Auckland Museum is a natural history and war memorial museum in the process of repositioning itself and improving their relationship with visitors. The posters serve to announce the monthly event LATE and highlight the fact that the museum is opened longer on this day. Neon lights were chosen as an appropriate visual metaphor to illustrate that point. Each letter, made from fluorescent tubes, is aligned with the typography of the AM campaign (AM is an acronym for Auckland Museum) and positioned in a perspex cube. Thus, the letters could be set up in different configurations.
