Man Myeon Hee Saek (translation: “faces beaming with joy”) is a noodle restaurant that seeks to keep traditional Korean noodle-making alive by bringing the joy of well-made noodles to hungry modern-day Koreans. In Korean, “myeon” can mean either “face,” or “noodles”. Drawing inspiration from this wordplay and the blossoming circular motifs of traditional Korean roof tiles, the brand’s key graphic depicts a ring of smiling faces encircling the Korean character for noodles. This symbolises the brand’s main motivation and pride: the delighted expressions of guests as they enjoy the restaurant’s finely crafted noodles.
