Mint Student tackles a problem which a large number of US millennials face: an overwhelming amount of student loan debt. In order to provide students with a deeper understanding of their financial situation, the application employs artificial intelligence. It recognises the user’s voice by its tone and pairs it with a personal artificial intelligence advisor offering advice on daily expenses. The friendly appeal of the characters and the clearly arranged interface reflect the brand’s ambition to not only inform users but also support them emotionally.
