The visual identity of the Museum of St. Petersburg Avant-garde presents an innovative image of an art museum: vivid, animated, interactive, and open to a broad target group. The design is based on art theories and experiments by Cubo-Futurists on the perception of colour and sound. The logo was inspired by an image of a crystalline structure, a popular metaphor among avant-garde artists. Another inspiring feature is the idea to illustrate a flood of crystal-like light reflections by harmoniously balancing shades of colour.
