Supporting children from socially vulnerable families, the non-profit organisation Lüttenhilfe e.V. for instance offers them free private homework tutoring. This surprising e-mail has been designed to convince former supporters of the organisation to donate again for this purpose. In the e-mail, recipients see a sentence written by a child with many spelling mistakes, and how it gradually improves as the recipient reads through the handwritten text. The idea behind the e-mail is to communicate how both the orthography and the handwriting of children can improve – progress that is rendered possible thanks to donations.
