The New Concept Design of TWIN not only introduces a new exterior design, the elevator interface is reinterpreted, delivering a user experience that transcends conventional standards.
Instead of the monotonous cube-shaped box exterior, a new full glass elevator design is presented, expressed in seamless curves and free from joints. This seamless design is embodied in every element. While most elevators display floor information using simple text and arrows, the vertically aligned display of the New Concept Design of TWIN mirrors the structure of the elevator shaft, enabling real-time spatial awareness. In addition, the AR DSC (Augmented Reality Destination Selection Control) projects the surrounding environment, allowing users to instantly recognise their position and reducing cognitive effort.
In addition, the AR DSC incorporates a smart route guidance function, enabling passengers to easily identify and reach their designated elevator. Its display height automatically adjusts through sensors, ensuring convenient accessibility for all users, including children and wheelchair users. All display components are made of glass, a material more recyclable and sustainable than plastic. Combined with stainless steel, the simple yet robust structure ensures durability across diverse environments and is well-suited for mass production.
