On two floors, this restaurant in Tokyo’s fashionable Roppongi District sets out to provide an impressive dining experience. The aim is to reconnect visitors with nature by stimulating all of their senses. The first floor resembles a cave-like setting with walls that have been conceived to look like a real cave wall. A herringbone glass floor represents the flowing of water, while the gravel made of glass under the table conveys the feel of really sitting near a river. The second floor features earth and greenery, surrounding the visitors with trees made of steel pipes. These pipes also serve as hangers for jackets or bags, which effectively make them appear like flowers in vibrant colours.
