Norður Salt

Norður Salt uses a unique sustainable method to produce pure sea-salt flakes from Arctic sea water and geothermal heat. The process was invented in Iceland in 1753 but forgotten for centuries. The packaging is made with a unique glue-free folding method, aligned to the notion of an eco-friendly product and also allowing the front panel to open outward for easy access. The key visual of the mermaid comes from Nordic mythology and illustrates the brand’s benefits: purity, freshness and rich complexity.
