Olafur Eliasson: Pentagonal Landscapes

This design was created for Olafur Eliasson’s art exhibition, which was presented at EMMA, the Espoo Museum of Modern Art in Finland. The logo with its mirror texture refers to a work by the contemporary artist, namely a pentagonal mirror entitled “magnum opus”, representing a formal continuation of that work. Additionally, the typeface used for the title of the exhibition, creates, with its gently arched formation, a visually attractive counterpart. Also, the colourful key visuals created by the artist give a very special impact in contrast to the rough concrete of the museum building. Individual motifs are present as key visuals throughout the invitation, poster, exhibition book, brochure and exhibition space.
